AUDITIONS - Saturday 19th February 2011Speechless is an upcoming film based on the original book 'Can't Find the Words' by Nicole Caulfield. Directed by Thomas Moran.
A brief synopsis of the film is as follows:
Grace Earns, a 17 year old girl, is struggling with the recent death of her mother, a regular attender at the parish Church. Grace struggles to understand why God allowed this to happen as well as other previous traumatic events. She loses the will to speak. After a year’s silence, Grace is confronted by Robert Darcé - the new boy at school who recently moved from England to Quinault - and Grace suddenly finds herself drawn to him. Many events loom on the horizon for Grace and her family.

Additional information
I wish to emphasise that we are a young (still at school) and dedicated crew embarking on our first film project. I am using this project to submit as part of my BTEC Drama Evidence and to get a head start in what I hope to be my career. I am extremely passionate about the industry and have already filmed and directed a short film prior to this project. Our resources are limited but we will endeavour to make the most of what we have to facilitate a professional production. Please also be reminded there is no pay, actors/actresses and crew are working voluntary and purely for the fun of being involved in such a project!Requirement: Individual
