Producers of a major feature about J.R.R Tolkien - the author of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy have announced they are holding open casting calls for the new film in Liverpool.

If successful in your audition, you will be a paid extra in the production. Filming is set to take place in Liverpool and Manchester over the next few months and there will be various filming dates between October and December.

The film, which is going to be directed by Dome Karukoski, will star Nicholas Hoult and Lily Collins. Looking at Tolkien's early years, the feature is a biopic of the author's early years and looks at Tolkien's friendships, love interests and artistic inspiration.
