'Gun Estate' is the first movie project by Gallery Films - a realistic movie about a notorious council estate centered around two families. The 'Mitchells' are a career criminal family into petty crime, protection and drug dealing. They rule the
estate with a rod of iron and are generally respected but cannot intimidate the 'Fillerys', a dysfucional family whos' 4
teenagers do not take too kindly to being pushed around with violent clashes ensuring. Things only get worse when 2 members
become romantically involved.
This is a gritty, true-to-life drama about the ongoings in the lifes of a community blighted by crime, alcoholism and
unemployment.
The 3 main subplots center around Andy - a talented footballer trialling for a local team. Shasha, a dancer whos strict
father who wont let her continue her ambition and Samsta, a local enforcer that want to go straight.
We will need extras (walk on artists) and people to complete the following roles.
Old Man Dean Mitchell - Aged 40 - 55 big man
Jason Mitchell - Aged 16-30 any look, will play a local hard man
Gary Mitchell - Aged 16 - 30, will play jasons sidekick
Sasha Mitchell - Aged 16 - 30, will play a talented singer (some singing ability helpful)
Janice Mitchell - Aged 25 - 45, will play older sister (no nonsence factory worker)
Sheila Mitchell - Aged 16 - 30, will play part of local girl gang
Jack Fillery - Aged 35 - 55, will play alcoholic
Suzi Fillery - Aged 18 - 30, will play wannabe glamour model
George Fillery - Aged 16 - 30, will play amateur boxer
Andy Fillery - Aged 18 - 25, (this role is already taken)
Kelly Downmire - Aged 18 - 35, will play church leader
Jo Patel - Aged 18 - 30, will play shop keeper
Extras of all ages, sizes and shapes also needed!

Release date mid 2011. Filming various locations across the UK but mainly based around London and The South East.
