The production company is Fulwell 73, an independent production company based in London. The company has a strong track record in theatrical features, including "In the Hands of the Gods", the widest released theatrical documentary ever in the UK. They are currently in post production on their follow up feature "Erase & Forget". Fulwell has also produced a number of critically acclaimed and award winning shorts, including "Letting Go" and "Human Rescources".This particular short, "Help", is the story of a an ageing married couples struggle with dementia. It follows the couple through the day leading up to their golden wedding party, with the dual narratives of husband and wife finally coming together at the party itself. The film shows how the wife is trying to come to terms with her husbands condition and the husband struggles with the simplest of tasks.
The film will be directed by Gabe and Ben Turner and produced by Leo Pearlman. It is intended for festival distribution on completion.
Additional Casting Information
We are looking for three actors to play residents in a care home. The scene involves the characers reminiscening about their younger days and will be filmed on Friday 14th May.
