Cast & Crew Positions in student film.

We are a group of amateur/student filmmakers currently working on a project titled Reborn. We all do this in our spare time and in a non-profit capacity. One of us is writting up a thesis about the filmmaking process so there is a definite timeframe for this project.Note: Shooting will be done in Leicester Square, The University of Greenwich, Middlesex University, Hendon Central & Middlesex University Halls of residence.
'Reborn' is a film about a young foreign student in London. The story follows the rise and fall of the young student in London, from his humble beginnings at university bullied for being different and his turning into a ruthless lawyer working in the city who ends up being betrayed by his high flying 'friends'.
He has to make a decision, does he become the ruthless person he has created to get away from the ridicule he was subject to, or does he go back to who he was but risk being put through daily ordeals again?
We currently require the following:
1x Asian/Indian/Oriental Male supporting character
1x Caucasian Male supporting character
1x African/Carribean Male supporting character
2x Male extras: 1x Caucasian, 2x Indian/Asian. 20-25 years old.
3x Female extras: 1x Caucasian, 1x Indian/Asian, 1 African/Carribean. 20-24 years old.
We also need a make-up artist.
Acting experience is definitely a plus but not a necessity as this is a project to help everyone involved to build a portfolio and to gain experience and insight within this industry.
Please keep in mind that we have no budget and that the purpose of the thesis is to determine a cost effective way of shooting a student film and put together a framework for other enthusiasts to follow.
We would like all prospective actors to send us a headshot and full body shot and a resume where available. If you don't have any experience then please just send us a headshot and body shot along with a brief paragraph about yourself and why you want to get involved in this project.
