Paul Burton Films are proud to announce that actress Vicki Michelle ('Allo 'Allo!, Emmerdale) is to appear in their new short film which is entitled Resentment. This film is set to be shot at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, on Sunday 4th October 2009. Vicki's daughter in the film will be played by her real-life actress daughter, Louise Michelle, and is set to mark the first time the pair will have acted together on television. The film is destined to be be broadcast by Information TV2 (Sky 167) during 2010 and will also be available to purchase on DVD by mail order exclusively from Paul Burton Films.
Paul Burton Films is a not-for-profit film project that was founded and is run by Paul Burton. The aim of the project is to break down barriers and to encourage people aged 16+ the chance to get involved in the world of film; while at the same time making a host of short, low budget films for broadcast on satellite television and release on DVD.
One of the unique aspects of Paul Burton Films is that the company works with both amateur and professional actors, actresses, extras and crew members.
Paul Burton Films are looking for an amateur or professional actor or a supporting artist aged between 20 and 25 to play this very small speaking role.
The Character:
The character of Tim Worth is a very small speaking role in Resentment. Worth is a young businessman who is also the fiance of Jessica Newman, who is being played by Louise Michelle.
Availability:
The actor of supporting artist playing this role will be required for filming on the morning and early afternoon of Sunday 4th October 2009 at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
Other Information:
The actor applying for this role must be from the London area.
Please note: as this is a not-for-profit film project, there will be no remuneration for working on this film.
To help with Paul Burton Films' high production costs, a £5.00 production membership will be required to be purchased by the actor taking part in this film. However, in return, free clips will be available for their showreel.
