Feature film being shot in Newcastle and backed by regional screen agency seeks extras

Pinball Films (www.pinballfilms.com) are looking for background artists to form part of their micro budget feature film cast. Working with a second time feature film director, applicants must be able to provide a headshot and measurements.We require people of all shapes and sizes who will be able at various times between now and 19th July.
Film Specs:
• Five weeks location shoot
• 4 principal cast
• 12 supporting actors
• Maximum 100 background over 5 weeks
• 26 shoot days (over the 5 weeks)
• All filming will take place in North East of England
Synopsis:
Set in working class, post industrial Northern Britain the film is an poetic love story that follows Manchester and Noon as they enjoy a long, hot, summer of love, living in a garage on a waste-ground. Noon is our narrator, a shy taxidermist who keeps a silent menagerie in the freezer alongside Manchester’s ice pops.
Manchester documents their affair, creating wonderfully charged images with just a couple of cheap, instamatic cameras. He rejects lighting, the planning of images and choreography in his photography.
When Franny, a wealthy man discovers the images he launches Manchester on an unsuspecting art world, where his success destroys the beauty of their once idyllic life and almost costs him everything.
Style:
A heightened realist cinematic aesthetic will be married to a British film with European art house sensibilities. The cinema of Dardenne brothers, Loach and Dumont are all references.
