Do you want to know your family better? Trouble getting them all in one place at one time? The BBC are looking for relatives who’d like to reunite somewhere special for an all-expenses-paid weekend.Each episode of this 4 part series will follow a different large extended British family as they prepare for and then come together for a family reunion. The reunion will offer the whole extended family the chance to discover their collective history and re-establish family relationships over the course of an all-expenses paid weekend away in Autumn 2008. Our hope is to explore the fascinating past and present that every family has at its core and to discover the importance and strength of family bonds in modern Britain. Through the four families we film with, we hope to build up a picture of the British family today.
