The search is on for the Jewel of the Midlands.Leading auctioneers Fellows & Sons are looking to crown Birmingham's next top model.
The winner, to be selected by a panel of expert judges, will showcase some of the finest jewellery in Birmingham as the ‘Face of Fellows’ during 2009.
The competition is being backed by leading fashion retailer Harvey Nichols at the Mailbox, who will provide clothes by top designers for the grand final to be held at the Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston later this year.
The Jewel of the Midlands will earn a year's contract with Birmingham model agency Adage, who will represent the winner for 12 months and give any budding model's career an early boost.
The prize also includes a professional photoshoot at the Botanical Gardens and an item of jewellery from Fellows.
The final event will be held to raise funds for the Birmingham Children's Hospital, with a charity auction event held around the showpiece fashion show featuring all 10 finalists and clothes from a series of top designers stocked by Harvey Nichols.

The competition is open to women aged 18 to 35 living in the West Midlands area. There is a minimum height of 5ft 7in. No previous modelling experience is required.Send a selection of up to four good quality and clear photos of yourself taken in the past month, including:
