Experience

Recently I have finished a course in Archaeology & Anthropology at Bristol University for which I achieved an upper second (2.1). Throughout my study at university and school I have undertaken many extracurricular activities regarding theatre and musical theatre. These have included Les Miserables, Animal Farm, Sweet Charity and more recently I played the part of Cinderella’s prince in Steven Sondheim’s ‘Into The Woods’. On top of this I have also partaken in professional acting work including background acting in the new film this year The Duchess and am-dram in previous weeks (28th July-3rd August 2008) called ‘The Boxford Masques’ (Knight & Day) in which I worked with children from the local community of Boxford in a musical play which was recommended as a must see by The Guardian newspaper (http://www.guardian.co.uk/stage/2008/jul/26/theatre.southlistings).

I am doing a National Theatre tour in October and doing a tour of Dick Whittington as Whittington round Northern Ireland and Britain for the Panto Company.

Skills and Hobbies

I have spent numerous months engaging in salsa and modern Latin dances, some basic ballet experience, and street dance experience. Furthermore I have had to learn numerous choreographed dance scenes for the musicals I have been in. I am also an experienced singer and have had some professional training. My vocal range stretches from a Bottom F --> G / Top A. I also can sing strongly in falsetto.

Furthermore I also have completed the Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh awards, which show my experience with leadership and communication skills. I have also committed myself to a World Challenge expedition to Peru for 4 weeks, which required fundraising and part-time employment to fund. This was a journey that has helped me to work together with people and manage my assets.
I have engaged in charitable causes such as raising £400 in a sponsored abseil for the charity ‘Charterhouse-in-Southwark’, and also donating money to Cancer Research UK. I also have played the trumpet, cornet, trombone and am now I highly experienced player of the euphonium. I have performed in numerous locations in England and Paris. Also I am a freelance photographer in my spare time and have been using my experience of photography in recent work editing using an editorial Avid suite.
